It's all in the planning ...

The countdown is now well and truly on to Movember 2009 so make sure your canvas is blank by this Sunday 1 November (no early mo-growing!)

Once you?re looking all clean-shaven and baby-faced why not spend a moment or two in the mirror to plan this year?s custom-mo. Here?s some inspiration:

If you think you can handle this mo we suggest modeling it on one of the most famous of them all (warning: Mo Bros under 40 this may need to involve some serious bleaching!)

If you?d prefer something that will help you woo the Mo Sistas, why not take a leaf from Clark Gable?s book of chivalry and grow yourself a suave looking mo (most effective when combined with a tux).

Or why not try out a hey-diddley iddley inspired mo ? if you can get it looking as thick and luscious as Flanders? we?re sure you will have a good chance to take out the Man of Movember title!

Get involved! Grow your mo for a damn good cause

So why are we encouraging you to get involved in Movember? Here's why... Not only will you be able to gorge yourself on free Grill'd burgers for 13 days straight, you'll also be raising money for a damn good cause.

At Grill'd we?re passionate about the cause behind Movember - to raise money and awareness of men's health issues. This year proceeds raised from the Movember campaign will be donated to the the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue ? the national depression initiative.

The cash you raise will not only go towards important research into prostate cancer but also contribute to the goal of finding a cure and better treatments for this disease. Additionally, the Movember 'mo'ney raised for beyondblue will go towards its help line, various awareness campaigns and to support research and development of important information resources.

To date, Movember has raised AUS$60 million globally for the fight against prostate cancer and depression in men. And, more importantly, as a direct result, male awareness of health issues has improved with Movember helping to spread health messages directly to millions of Mo Bros & Sistas around the world.

We can't think of a better reason to get involved and grow your mo this Movember...

The Grill?d Hairy Hall of Fame, Furry Facebook and more

We?re already getting some mo-tastic feedback on Twitter and Facebook, so keep ?em coming. There?s a stack of $50 Grill'd Gift Cards to be snapped up.

In the meantime, we?re gearing up for a very hairy Hairy Hall of Fame, finding friends on Facebook and encouraging pics and vids of you and your creative mos to be uploaded to the site.

We look forward to seeing and hearing from you soon!

Will a Grill?d Mo Bro make it as the Man of Movember?

We?re not just giving away free burgers, all Grill?d staff will also be growing a mo and raising money for the cause. One team member was so passionate last year that he was crowned the Victorian ?Best Mo in Class? at the Gala Dinner ? and you can see why, that mo is A-grade!

Can a Grill?d Mo Bro in 2009 live up to Mick?s legacy, beat that mo and become Man of Movember ?
