The Grill'd Airstream was out and about again yesterday. This time we teamed up with the amazing people behind the Salvation Army Life Centre in the Melbourne CBD and fired up the Grill'd Airstream for those in need.
We caught up with Alexis from the Salvation Army team recently to learn more about the great work they are doing with the Life Centre, which is a community centre in the heart of Melbourne's CBD that provides support (spiritual, physical, emotional and social) to people from all walks of life, especially those who live on the very margins of our society. Alexis explained how the Life Centre provides meals, crisis intervention and practical support to assist people in their everyday living.
After our catch up we thought it would be great if we could help out in some small way by backing up the Grill'd Airstream and sharing the burger love. So that?s exactly what we did. After some swift maneuvering of the Grill'd Airstream into the back streets of Melbourne we managed to serve up lunch for those who rely on the Life Centre. We're pleased to say our burgers went down a treat.
