Cheques need to be printed, signed and distributed to the restaurants. The turnaround on this is about 3 weeks. The Restaurant Manager will contact you when the cheque is ready in restaurant!
Q. How do we pick up the cheque?
Come into the restaurant to pick up your cheque and grab a photo with the team (and maybe a cheeky burg).
Q. Can we participate at more than one restaurant?
Local Matters groups can participate at one local restaurant every 12 months. If your organisation has several branches, each branch can submit 1 x application for 1 x local restaurant.
Q. Can we participate within the 12 month period?
No – Local Matters groups can only participate at a local restaurant once a year.
Q. Can I change my jar information?
We send Local Matters information to be printed 3 weeks in advance (no later than the 12th of the month prior). No changes can be made after this date.
Q. We haven't set up a group bank account yet. Can we still participate?
Local Matters donations cannot be paid into a personal account.
Q. I want to fundraise on behalf of another organisation. Can I do this?
To fundraise on behalf of another organisation, you will need to have a letter of authority giving you permission from the organisation to fundraise on their behalf.
Q. Can I apply with a fundraising page?
No. Local Matters cannot support individuals, personal projects, fundraising pages or specific teams for fundraising events.
