Yep, we went there.
Like a cake made of fire crackers, the Porkaroo is a mouthful of celebration. We've fused Australia Day and Chinese New Year festivities, creating a limited edition dim sum burger inspired by modern Australia.
We've used RSPCA Approved pork as a nod to the coming Year of the Pig, blending it with true blue Australian kangaroo meat. The Porkaroo is dressed with a fusion of pickled native coastal greens, chilli & ginger mayo, Vietnamese mint, coriander & crispy fried shallots.
Modern Australia has many flavours and we’ve picked some of the best for the Porkaroo, our best smelling burger that’s darn tasty too. No, not a typo, we said best smelling and we meant it - taste testers in our team wouldn’t stop talking about it… it got kind of annoying for those of us still waiting, hungrily.
So why all the fusion? The Grill’d way is an inclusive one. We celebrate collaboration because we’re better for it, and so are our burgers.
