For every Mighty Melbourne bought on Melbourne Day, August 30th, we’ll give a burger to those sleeping rough in our community.
Melbourne Day is a day to celebrate our history, indigenous culture and all things that make Melbourne what it is today. From the latté-sipping hipsters to our graffitied laneways, to the home of the very best Healthy Burgers - it’s a pretty incredible city we live in.
Melbourne was in fact given its name on August 30, 1835 when settlers landed on the north bank of the Yarra River from the schooner Enterprize – that’s a ship not a drinking vessel by the way. Fast forward to 2004 and Grill’d was born and bred in this marvellous city.
So how can you get involved?
Celebrate all things Melbourne with us - buy a Mighty Melbourne burger on Melbourne Day and we’ll donate one to those sleeping rough in our community. One for one.
Working with our partners Melbourne City Mission, The Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul, we’ll shut up shop at our Southern Cross restaurant for as many nights as it takes, to pay forward every single Mighty sold - thanks to you.
Let’s fill those bellies, Melbourne.
