On Monday 29 May the team from Grill’d Norwood made their way down to Carrington Cottages to make burgers for men experiencing homelessness.

Carrington Cottages aim to provide safe, comfortable and affordable accommodation for homeless men. The facilities provide bedrooms, kitchens, bathroom and recreational facilities.

On Monday 29 May, staff from Grill’d Norwood, alongside Franchise Partners Brea and Tom McClure, served Grill’d burgers to 40 people experiencing homelessness. Staff from Joint Hair, the local barber, also attended to provide free haircuts to each person experiencing homelessness at the cottages.

This month Carrington Cottages have also been featured on the Local Matters jars and will receive a donation of $500.

Brea McClure, Grill’d Norwood Franchise Partner, said, “we're dedicated to making a difference in our local community.”

Pop into Grill’d and you'll be supporting the local community too. What more could you want?
