This June, your Local Matters vote will support organisations who help Australians facing homelessness and other societal disadvantages.
We usually take what we’ve got for granted. Most of us have a warm place to sleep, regular meals, and a roof over our heads. But for some, this isn’t the case.
Homelessness is a huge problem here in Australia with around

experiencing homelessness.
That’s why in June, we’re giving back in a big way.
For the entire month, every one of, our Local Matters jars across the country is dedicated to the same three groups who support the homeless: the Australian Red Cross, Vinnies, and The Salvation Army. Simply head in-restaurant, or order through Grill’d Delivery, and use your Local Matters token to vote for a group.
With your help, we'll donate over

to people who need it most.
HOW IT WORKS
When you visit any one of our restaurants in June, you can use your Local Matters token to support either the Australian Red Cross, Vinnies and The Salvation Army. At the end of the month, each restaurant will count your votes, we’ll then do a nationwide tally, and provide the consolidated donations to the groups.

MEET THE GROUPS
Australian Red Cross
The Australian Red Cross' focus remains where it's always been – helping those most vulnerable, and supporting all Australians to maintain their wellbeing and cope with disruption and uncertainty.
Vinnies
Vinnies provide nutritional meals to feed hungry Australians. Every day of the year, Vinnies feeds people living rough on our streets and provides meals to families experiencing food insecurity.
The Salvation Army
Every day, hundreds of Australians facing homelessness approach The Salvation Army for support. Your vote will help The Salvation Army leave no one in need.

Spreading the love to our local communities matters to us.
This is why we launched Local Matters in 2011 as a way to give back. We use what we have: our jars and your token votes to support causes and groups in our communities.
