We partnered with SEA LIFE Trust during March, thanks to Local Matters.
SEA LIFE Trust champions plastic-free oceans, sustainable fishing, effective marine protected areas and an end to over-exploitation of marine life.
During May, our Grill’d restaurants in Sydney; Harbourside, Galeries, Westfield Sydney and World Square decided to lend a helping hand to reduce single-use plastics. How? Our restaurants joined the ‘Sip. Don’t Suck’ movement, putting their straws away and only handing them out on request.
Our team also sparked some awesome discussion about how soft plastics and wrappings can be recycled.
“This has been an amazing partnership for SEA LIFE Trust showcasing the willingness of businesses to be a force for good and take ownership of their impacts. We look forward to continuing this great friendship!” – SEA LIFE Trust.
Earlier this year, Sea Life Trust participated on our Local Matters jars receiving a donation of $800.
