We may not have a big red suit or a white beard, but we do have some Christmas cheer to spread. We’re spreading some Christmas lovin’ to those sleeping rough.
This Christmas Eve, from 6pm Grill’d Galeries is opening its doors to host a feast for 200 people experiencing homelessness.
On the night, the Grill’d team will be joined by volunteers from Orange Sky Australia to engage in conversation to positively connect with these people who might otherwise feel isolated.
Being the world’s first free mobile laundry service for people experiencing homelessness, Orange Sky’s aim is to improve hygiene standards and restore dignity to people doing it tough. More importantly, they have engaged in more than 100,000 hours of conversation to date.
But wait there’s more. During the month of December, the Grill’d Sydney CBD restaurants; Galeries, Harbourside, World Square and Westfield Sydney are supporting Orange Sky Australia through the Local Matters program.
Pop into Grill’d this December, place your token in Orange Sky’s jar and help them take out a total donation of $1,200. You know you want to.
