Coast Shelter has three women with children refuges across the Central Coast. Many women find themselves experiencing homelessness after escaping domestic and family violence. We have supported over 400 women with children in the last 12 months.
Men 25+ Coast Shelter has the only dedicated crisis accommodation service for men over the age of 25 who are experiencing homelessness on the Central Coast. Many men we support have had tough childhoods which deeply impacted their lives.
Coast Shelter has five youth refuges across the Central Coast for young women and men between the ages of 16 and 24 who are experiencing homelessness. 65% of the people we provide crisis accommodation to are under the age of 25.
